Nancy Singla has recently completed her Master's degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Dr. Doreen Rao and Raffi Armenian. During this time she also studied Advanced Vocal Pedagogy with Lorna Macdonald. Her undergraduate studies in Vocal and Piano performance were completed at the University of Victoria and the Victoria Conservatory of Music. In past summers, Nancy has studied singing abroad in Vienna, Austria with Edith Wiens and the Kodaly concept in Kecskemet, Hungry. She has a passion for teaching all ages, from beginner to advanced levels. In addition to teaching privately, Nancy is actively pursuing her conducting career. In the coming years, she is looking forward to being the founding artistic director of her own women's choir.
