Brooke Harris is a Toronto based, classically trained soprano who now spends most of her time performing as a pop-rock singer/songwriter. Although known in clubs as a singer/songwriter, Brooke has also been a member of The Nathanial Dett Chorale, and has sung classically in Europe and the United States.
While pursuing classical music Brooke performed several operatic roles with orchestra including: The Queen of the Night in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and 'Diana' in Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld.
Brooke Harris has also performed as a soloist with both the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for Handel's Messiah, conducted by Bruce Pullan, and the Nelson Summer Songfest in Nelson, British Columbia. Brooke has had the privilege of working with a number of great singers through Master classes and full-time study including Gary Relyea, Roelof Oostwould, Heather Thompson-Price, Mary Morrison, Nancy Argenta, Judith Forst and Kim Mattice Wanat. A versatile musician, Brooke also writes music and plays guitar, piano, violin, saxophone, and the Chinese erhu.
