Rock Band Course
What is it?
CMC's Rock Band Class is a year-long 90 minute, once a week session where guitar, bass, keyboard, drum and vocal students come together and learn to play songs by their favourite bands: Metric, The Beatles, Coldplay, The White Stripes...etc. Students will not only improve on ear training, reading, writing, timing, and playing abilities, but will have fun while doing it. This is your chance to ROCK out with your friends, classmates and other CMC students!
A minimum of 2 performances per year is part of the course, and a CD of accomplished songs will be recorded at the end of the year.
Maximum 6 students per group: 2 guitars, 1 bass, 1 keys, 1 drums and 1 vocalist. (min 3 students: 1 guitar, 1 bass and 1 drums to run the class)
This is your chance to ROCK out with your friends, classmates and other CMC students!
Please note: There is a prerequisite of 2 yrs private lessons experience (or ability) on your instrument before joining this class. Students will be placed according to playing ability and age, and suitability to the group. Please contact Lusiana directly for more information or advice.
