Rock Band Course
What is it?
Our CMC Rock Band Course is a weekly 90 minute session where guitar, bass, keyboard and drum students come together and learn to play songs by their favourite bands: Metric, The Beatles, Coldplay, The White Stripes...etc. Playing in a group with other students in addition to your private lessons will improve your ear training, reading, writing, timing, and playing abilities while having fun. This is your chance to ROCK out with your friends, classmates and other CMC students! Non CMC Students will be auditioned for placement level. Maximum 6 students per group.
Who is teaching it?
Devrim Eldelekli, Nick Shao, and Alan Demsky will be teaching our Rock Band course on different days. All three have played in bands for years. They not only are amazing at what they do, they also have a wealth of knowledge from their experiences of being in bands. You can read more about them on our Teachers Page.
When is it?
Our Rock Band Course is offered on 3 different days:
(1) Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00pm (taught by Devrim)
(2) Saturday from 2:30 to 4:00pm (taught by Nick) and
(3) Sunday from 4:00-5:30pm (taught by Alan)
Courses start the week of September 15th.
How much does it cost?
Our Rock Band Course is a full year course with 2 performances a year. For weekly 90 minute classes, the cost is $100/month.

We will be having placement auditions on Saturday, Sept. 6th at 2pm for new CMC students. Please call 416-537-5995 to sign up for your audition. It won’t be intimidating, you’ll simply be asked to play something you’ve prepared (your choice), so we can see your potential and what level you’re at.
