Voice in Classical, Pop, Rock and Musical Theater 

Elizabeth (Beth) Polese (soprano) is a Toronto based performer in classical voice, opera and musical theatre. Beth is currently an undergraduate voice performance student at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music under the tutelage of Mary Morrison. She has also achieved her A.R.C.T. (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto) in voice performance with first class honors.

She is a nation-wide performer has received numerous awards and scholarships from organizations like the Kiwanis Music Festival, the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, and the Davenport Music Festival. She has also placed first twice with the Ontario Music Festival Association in the Voice: Diploma category.

As an active performer Beth has performed roles such as Maria (West Side Story), Ado Annie (Oklahoma!), Jo March (Little Women: The Musical), Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables) as well as numerous other roles. Her opera chorus credits include La Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Candide, and upcoming Cosi fan tutte. Beth is also a member of the University of Toronto’s MacMillan Singers, with whom she was able to perform Bach’s Mass in B Minor with world renound conductor Helmuth Rilling at Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto.

Beth loves to share her passion of music and performing with her students and cannot wait to meet more fun people!
